Welcome to SongVault! We at SongVault.fm understand that “on-line privacy” is important to those who visit and use our website, whether for fun or business. This statement purports to set forth the policy of SongVault.fm as to “On-line Privacy,” with respect to the "Visitors" and Authorized Users” of SongVault.fm

“User Account” –- Any “Visitor” may set up a “User Account” on SongVault.fm and be an “Authorized User”. An “Authorized User” is able to use the various services offered by SongVault.fm.

"Personal Identifiable Information" –- refers to any information that identifies, or can be used to identify, contact, or locate the person to whom such information pertains. Any such information, includes, but is not limited to: Name; Address; E-Mail Address; Date of Birth; and Credit Card Information. “Personal Identifiable Information” does not include information that is collected anonymously (ie., without identification of the individual user) or demographic information not connected to an identified individual.

What Personal Identifiable Information is collected?
SongVault.fm collects the following information from our Authorized Users: Name; E-Mail Address; Date of Birth; City; State /Province; Postal (Zip) Code; and Country. In addition, if an “Authorized User” adds an Artist Profile to his account, additional information will be collected including: Biography; Telephone Number; and a Profile Photo.

How does the Site use Personal Identifiable Information?
SongVault.fm uses “Personal Identifiable Information” for a variety of reasons, such as: customizing the Website; making appropriate service offerings; and fulfilling purchases of services on the Website. SongVault.fm may also contact “Visitors” and “Authorized Users” for research purposes; to advise about purchase and selling opportunities; to provide information related to the subject matter of the website; to respond to specific inquiries; and to provide requested information.

With whom may the information may be shared?
PPersonal Identifiable Information” about “Authorized Users” (that is not visible on SongVault.fm) will not be shared with other “Authorized Users”. SongVault.fm may, however, share any and all information about “Visitors,” including the demographics of “Visitors” and “Authorized Users,” with affiliated agencies and third party vendors. SongVault.fm may also offer the opportunity to "opt out" of receiving information or being contacted by SongVault.fm, or by any agency acting on their behalf.

How is Personal Identifiable Information stored?
Personal Identifiable Information” collected by SongVault.fm is securely stored and is not accessible to third parties except for use as indicated above.

What choices are available to Visitors regarding collection, use and distribution of the information?
Visitors” and “Authorized Users” may opt out of receiving unsolicited information from, or being contacted by SongVault.fm, or their vendors and/or affiliated agencies, by responding to e-mails as instructed, or by contacting SongVault.fm at webmaster@songvault.fm

Are Cookies Used on the Site?
Cookies are used for a variety of reasons. We use Cookies to obtain information about the preferences of our “Visitors” and the services they select. We also use Cookies for security purposes to protect our “Authorized Users.” For example, if an “Authorized User” is logged on SongVault.fm, and is unused for more than 30 minutes, the “Authorized User” will automatically be logged-off.

How does SongVault use login information?
SongVault.fm uses log-in information, including, but not limited to, IP addresses, ISPs, and browser types, in order to analyze trends, administer the website, track a user's movement, and use and gather broad demographic information.

What partners or service providers have access to “Personal Identifiable Information” from “Visitors” and/or “Authorized Users” on SongVault.fm?
SongVault.fm has entered into, and will continue to enter into, partnerships and other affiliations with a number of vendors. Such vendors may have access to certain “Personal Identifiable Information” on a “need to know” basis for evaluating “Authorized Users” for service eligibility. Our “On-Line Privacy Policy” does not cover their collection or use of this information.

Are there any circumstances where SongVault.fm will disclose “Personal Identifiable Information?”
SongVault.fm will disclose “Personal Identifiable Information” in order to comply with a court order or subpoena, or upon request from any law enforcement agency which requires the release of such information. SongVault.fm reserves the right to disclose any such information when reasonably necessary in order to protect the safety of our “Visitors” and “Authorized Users.”

How does SongVault.fm keep “Personal Identifiable Information” secure?
Personal Identifiable Information” of “Visitors” and “Authorized Users” is only accessible to a limited number of qualified individuals who are given a password in order to gain access to such information. Sensitive information, such as credit card numbers, is protected by encryption protocols which are programmed in order to protect information sent over the Internet. While SongVault.fm takes commercially reasonable measures to maintain a secure website, electronic communications and databases are subject to errors, tampering and break-ins. In this regard, SongVault.fm cannot guarantee, or warrant, that such events will not take place. As such, SongVault.fm will not be held responsible, and/or liable, to any “Visitors” or “Authorized Users” for any such occurrences.

Are “Authorized Users” able to correct any inaccuracies in “Personal Identifiable Information?
“Authorized Users” may contact SongVault.fm to update “Personal Identifiable Information” about them, or to correct any inaccuracies by using the administration area of their account.

Can an “Authorized User” delete, and/or deactivate, “Personal Identifiable Information” which has been collected by SongVault.fm?
SongVault.fm provides “Authorized Users” with a mechanism to delete, and/or deactivate, “Personal Identifiable Information” from the SongVault.fm database through their administration area. However, because of back-ups and records of deletions, it may be impossible to delete an “Authorized User's” entry without retaining some residual information. An “Authorized User” who requests to have “Personal Identifiable Information” deleted, and/or deactivated, will have this information functionally deleted, and SongVault.fm will not sell, transfer, or use any such “Personal Identifiable Information” which relates, in any way, to that “Authorized User.”

Can “On-Line Privacy Policy” change?
SongVault.fm reserves the right to change the “On-Line Privacy Policy.” In the event that any such changes occur, SongVault.fm will advise “Visitors” and “Authorized Users” of any such changes by posting them on the website.
