TJ began playing guitar at around 16. Living on the Arkansas/ Oklahoma border gave way to some very different but deeply rooted styles of music. The combination of traditional southern gospel and the blue-collar driven "red dirt" music of the Oklahoma juke-joints blends into a dialog of America's heartland.
Professionally, TJ is still a soldier in the U.S. Army, and has deployed twice in support of OIF. He uses his experiences as well as the experiences of his friends to bring potent lyrics to his laid back melodies.
