This Country Needs More Country are a 3-piece, Alt-Country / Folk / Acoustic group based in England.

The band met each other at the University of Surrey (Guildford) when they were all studying for a music degree.

After spending some time in an indie-rock group, Rob and Jon realised their true calling and started playing acoustic music (with a country twang).
Sam soon joined in with the fun and TCNMC was born.

The band are currently recording an album - to be released in 2010 and are hoping to play at festivals to promote the album.
