Swamp Wompus is unlike any other band. The incredible creativity between the members of the band has led to a large catalog of fresh new music. The live shows are full of improvisation and crowd participation that keeps the crowd dancing. Their influences come from all kinds of music ranging across genres, bespeckled with the influences of funk, hip hip, rock, raggae, jazz, jam, electronic, funk rock, jazz-gae, electro hop, jamtronic, cartoon funk, or whatever the kids are calling it these days . All 5 members have varied tastes and influences and that is part of the reason why the music they create is so diverse and original. It is impossible to put the music into one genre. They are able to create music that knows no boundaries.
