Rex has been playing music all of his life...from accordian at age 5 switching to drums at 13 and over the course of years , teaching himself guitar, keyboards, bass, harmonica, mandolin and banjo. Rexs musical journey has brought him to playing in many bands through the years...one on RCA records in the late 70s and all the way to the place he feels the most comfortable...his studio. Recently upgrading to ProTools 8 and utilizing an IMac computer, Rex and his musical partner of 30 years, Brian MacDonald, have now started to produce younger artists. It's very rewarding...Brian has a record deal with Friday Records, an indie label out of Nashville owned and run by Grammey award winner Rick Jarrard...life is good...
