Start playing piano at 3, started to study improvisation by herself at the age of 14 and started to write songs at 19. Writing melodious pieces and improvising is her strengthness.
At 2007 she was so eager to enter the international music industry, so she participate in the UK Songwriting Contest and the Music Aid Awards 2007. She was placed as Semi-finalist at the Instrumental, dance/ electronic and pop category in the UK Songwriting Contest and she got the Runner-up in the Best Composition (Hong Kong) category of the Music Aid Award.
At 2008 she was the winner of the Song of the Year Instrumental category (September round). She also got the double-finalist in the UK Songwriting Contest 2008.
Being essentially a keyboardist, Rebecca's compositions are mainly instrumental and especially for piano. Her music is mainly emotional and passionate. She got a lot of inspirations from love, from the nature and from travelling.
She wants to give special thanks to a special person that inspired her to write so many songs-- he is Lorenzo Pinto.
She believes that music is a way to communicate with souls and hearts of other people and a way to enter into the heart of the musician.
