Paul "Big Dawg" Johnson began his musical career as a teenager studying guitar and engaging in various genres of music including Blues, Country, Rock, and Alternative styles. Big Dawg blended his unique style of guitar playing with lyrics that come from experiencing life's hard lessons. Growing up in Tennessee, the musical influences for Big Dawg were abundant. From Stevie Ray Vaughan,B.B. King,Albert King and Eric Clapton to ZZ Top and Jimi Hendrix, Big Dawg learned what he could from the greats even though he can't read music but soon incorporated a little of each into a genuine alternative blues style that belongs solely to Paul "Big Dawg" Johnson.
