Originally a member of the defunct electro-rock combo Mountain Mama, Luke Sneyd is a Toronto singer-songwriter. His debut solo album All of Us Cities has just been released in May, 2007. Working with producer Marc Koecher, Luke's debut features smart, energetic power pop. The two musicians first combined forces when Marc composed a soundtrack for a short film Luke had written. That cinematic sensibility carried over into their collaboration on the album. A mutual perfectionism society, they toiled and tinkered over the record for two years in Marc's basement studio. Chris Osti of the Hugh Dillon Redemption Choir and the Action Mob played bass on a few tracks, Luke laying down all the guitars and vocals, and Marc adding keys, drums and textures. the finished album All of Us Cities is a bright, polished alt-pop gem.
