John Ganimead started composing professionally in August 2000. He received top reviews on his composition "Eclipse ?" and the very haunting "KURSK". The follow up "Cosmos" also received equal attention. Since then he has received numerous high rankings for his compositions which earned him the title "King of the Abstract charts". He has written and produced backing tracks for many up and coming artists and promoted artists: Eva Santos, Debbie Mannas, Lynda Moore, Daniella Roth & Godbox three of which received recording contracts.
Achievements: MP3 Grammy Awards winner in 2001 and three nominations in 2002 gaining him two further awards. Most recently Ganimead's Soundscape music was featured on a cable network station in New York, and "Eclipse?" was featured in a PBS documentary "The Trail of Tears". Ganimead has also composed background themes for the popular CBS series 'Navy CIS' seasons 1 & 2. April 2008, Ganimead's song "Space Rock's" was voted top rock song on WSVN-Radio and was featured on their CD "Best of WSVNRadio" Oct 2011 Ganimead's music was featured on a popular Japanese TV show and a follow up series is planned for 2013. |
