I have been playing music for most of my life, but just recently found the tools to do some halfway decent recordings and begin to express what my music is all about. You’ll find it runs the gamut from sensitive classical pieces all the way to screaming metal solos. At the ripe old age of 43, I have been playing guitar since I was 15, and keyboards about that long as well. Originally taught by friends and close listening, I developed a keen interest in the blues roots of rock and roll, and went on to study classical guitar as well. I graduated with a Bachelor’s in Music, and since then (1988) have been a composing member in bands such as the Houston, TX bands Mountain of Joy, and S/he. The former featured long, groove-based jams, the latter was a hard-edged Alternative band. I have long been influenced by the early music of Pink Floyd, and some of my favorite guitarists are David Gilmour, Steve Howe, Jimmy Page, Eric Clapton, Dickie Betts, and Stevie Ray Vaughan, to name just a few. Give my music a listen and I think you’ll be surprised at what a guy can do at home by himself on the computer and a few low-budget instruments. Hey, feel free to write a review if you like, I could use another opinion or two!
