A native of Chattanooga, TN. E M J started Around The World Records in Tacoma, WA. in 1999 and began to write songs that presented a realistic yet positive message. These songs can now be heard on his 1999 debut album titled "E M J". This album was nominated one of the Best Rap / Hip-Hop Albums in the Seattle area for the Sounds Of Seattle 2001 Music Awards. E M J relocated to Montgomery, Alabama in 2001 his 2002 EP release titled "A.L.A.B.A.M.A." received high reviews and initiates a brand new flavor for his 2003 Sophomore Album titled "STREET CREDIBILITY". This album also received great reviews and shows that E M J has what it takes to not only reinvent himself but change the game all together. As a producer, E M J is looking to get his beats placed with artists that are backed by a strong independent or major label. E M J now resides in Marietta, Georgia and plans to release his fourth full length album "CORPORATE DOLLA$" in early 2007.
