SongVault Artist Profile

I became intrested in being an artist at the age 14. Weezer,Greenday,and Silverchair were the bands who made me love music. From there, Tool,Incubus, and Deftones made a huge impact.

I started out as a guitarist, and then to the drums. Drums is my favorite instrument to play and understand. I was in a band with my best friend from the start. We both played guitar. To further the band, I picked up bass and hated it,smashed it, and yeah, so the drums became my destined instrument as far as band compilation work.

I have wrote along during my band projects alone since 1999. I started with a simple tool called the MTV music generator. Then I picked up MG2. Currently I use FL studio. I own near 50 plug-ins and have a massive library which is very hard to organize, but I am coming to grips with it now. I love writing new things and putting them with the effects of life I had lived. Aesthetics are a ongoing relevance to my sound and to my story.

When I was 19 (2000), I had over-dosed on acid and ecstasy. I was a drug-induced psychotic for 4 years and it had opened my eyes to who and what I am. This is why I name my band Inrichpods. Really it's saying thank you god. No matter what form he gave me life in it's still a blessing just to have it. We never had to be here. Where nothing that became something. It never had to be. Life is what you make it and Inrichpods also means variants. This is also relevant to my album name "One billion and one ways to survive without sunlight." If you had watched "A scanner darkly," you could understand my story from the end of the movie. The beginning of my story ends with that one. My variant is a strange and was unable to predict. I should have been a college student with a full scholarship from football. There is alot that can be said about what I went through, but I wrote Inrichpods to share it instead.

I also am working on a book in my spare time. On myspace, you will see the main character, -The drummer- come alive and evolve. Check it out.

In all, I wish to sell my album and what I really want is scores with video games, movies, and commercials.

I have hundreds of songs I will not include in my album. Although it is a 35 song album, I wish to keep them as a fallback for more projects in the working industry I may run into later.

I will not stop where I am. I feel inventive all of the time and wish to bring interesting stuff to the world through working projects. I can not continue to do so much if I am not making the profits to support myself and my family. Although, 4 years of school can give me just the reference that I expect. I had become addicted. And I want to go to school, but in my life it's hard to......So here I am writing a life of me and relative things.
