Dawn Rose has been performing professionally in the San Francisco Bay Area since the 1980’s. She is founder of the popular female trio “Sweet Burgundy”, currently playing thirty plus shows a year in the wine country and beyond; performs as a solo act; and is now working with "The Dawn Rose Band" to promote her new album “Step By Step.”
Produced by and co-written with Tom Corwin of Mill Valley, CA, this is a tasty and haunting album of contemporary-folk and acoustic-rock. Dawn writes songs for causes – such as de-forestation, teen eating disorders and world peace; inspirational songs about the homeless, tough relationships and cosmic connections; with a few signature “in and out of” love songs.
