God led bassist/vocalist/songwriter Hal Jones met guitarist/songwriter Scotty Meadows in 2001 when they formed the band Narrow Road.
With additional members Mark and Renee Layman and drummer Stephen Jones (Hal’s 15 yr. old son) they produced the album “Bought with Blood” and followed that album in 2003 with the disc “Promises” using drummers Keith Cunningham and Christopher Adams. The band
dissolved though in 2003 due to Hal’s health issues. A few years passed before Scotty, several bands later, got back together with Hal and formed the new band Beyond Human which Scotty named after a comic
strip Hal has online at www.brightstarcomics.com. After an extensive search, Craig’s List led them to drummer Brian Layton and the band began anew with new material currently being written and recorded and gigs being played. The band is open for playing shows all over the
