Akeem is the very young talented nephew of one of gosple's great songwritters, the late Paul Thompsom. After his uncle's death in the spring of 2005, Akeem, age 15, started writing gosple songs.
Akeem style of writing could be described as classical, but yet soulful. He is still trying to build his song base.
Akeem recenty started working with a few close friends to form a choir, the Voices of Praise. Together, they are working on an alblem, due in stores late summer/early fall. Check out their myspace page for more info.
