Seattle native, Austin Weaver records under the name a.w.feldt. Songs from a.w.feldt's first ep titled 'i hope you know what you're doing' were recorded at his brother's apartment in greenlake area in mid to late 2007. a.w.feldt began playing shows in january of 2008, and has since then been on one tour, co-headlined an idaho music festival/fundraiser, and played with such acts as Band of Annuals, Chris Koza, French Quarter, The Pharmacy, The Awful Truth, Boomsnake, Snuffaluffagus, and many other great bands. the music released by a.w.feldt has been compared to such artists as simon and garfunkel, elliot smith, sufjan stevens, fionn regan, and others. there is currently an ep in the making, as well as a full-length. stay tuned.
