Born in the Bushwick Section of Brooklyn, New York 1978 Steve”MugshotOne”Cadet.
Fell in love with more than just the music of the emerging hip- hop culture, more or less became in a sense a living embodiment of the culture. Started break dancing at the age of 3 just before I moved to Essex County(East Orange,NJ). So everything I approached was through the ideals of a b-boy, my transition was from a b-boy to a Graf writer (from the age of 10-till now..),then from a Graf writer to a poet(age 10 –till now) .After my older cousin got shot that following year my poetry transformed into the pain I felt then I over stood that was the beginning of me being an Emcee. I’ve always had respect for the back bone of the culture which is the D.J(Turntablists) so it was only natural after I felt I’ve mastered my craft to learn some ill scratching techniques..but that brought forth my last evolution to beat making and audio engineering. It wasn’t until 1996 that I actually decided on working on some actual music but just before I would work on my first project ”Cunrise Sessions” I flew out to Saint Petersburg, FLA where I linked up with my brothers Brainwash & Likewise and formed the Fall Out Shelter Emcees(Styles Infinite Klique).In 1998 came back to New Jersey and completed the “Cunrise Sessions” in 2002.Production on this project was done mostly by E-Swan,DJ 3rd Rell(JCM/SIK),Waz Most, and one by me(Path of Enlightenment).
Then the following year I put together the now classic second project “Prelude2Madness” Ep featuring production by Waz Most & DJ 3rd Rell(JCM/SIK), two skits produced by me and the two most infamous songs “Illest2Wreck” featuring my brother in rhyme (Sol-Zalez) prod. By Waz Most and “Execution of Thoughts” prod. & cuts by DJ 3rd Rell (JCM/SIK) . In 2005 I was ready to drop my Spoken word project “Celestial Origins” I did the majority of the production on this project with the exceptions of “Tripple Darkness” & “The Truth Is Us vs. Them” produced by DJ 3rd Rell(JCM/SIK). In 2006 worked on the “Verbal Invasion” project and got loose with the production once again with my brother in beats of dopeness DJ 3rd Rell. I’m recently working on my latest project “Alien Mind Scrolls” and this year became an official member of No Name Society which is a collective of the greatest artist that chose to remain anonymous individuals but we uphold the tradition of what hip-hop is supposed to be. I was actually brought in from my long time friend and partner in rhyme Sol-Zalez aka KnoBodyKnowsHim(N.N.S) & our brother from another mother DAT KIDD 179. Again my stage name’s (T.A.S.P)”MugshotOne”( it’s an acronym that breaks down in this order..the almighty sick phantom __ mentally unique grammatically spittin hot termanology of origins not explainable) and my most used No Name is “Wutt It Iz aka Luce Williz” enjoy the freshness.
